The Eye of Christ Upon Us – J. C. Ryle

Let us remember that the eye of our loving Saviour is upon us morning, noon, and night. He will never suffer us to be tempted above that we are able to bear. He can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, for He suffered himself being tempted. He knows what battles and conflicts are, for He Himself was assaulted by the prince of this world. Having such a High Priest, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.  - J.C. Ryle

  1. Jack, You ended your last blog, reminding us all to keep our eyes on Jesus, through all the waves of our afflictions. What a comfort it is to know that Jesus always has His watchful eyes always on us, even when we forget and neglect to look to Him for all things. He is that ever praying high priest, who never slumbers or sleeps. Thank you for being so honest and transparent as you share your struggles and temptations. Thinking and praying for you and your family.
    In Christian love,

  2. This surely is an "amen" after yesterday's blog. God knew that we all needed to read this and be content with our life here on earth and look forward to being with Christ.
    Blessings to you all.
