This blog was created to keep all of our family and friends informed of what is going on in our lives as our dear husband, father and Opa battles ALS. May God receive the full glory as we walk on this path He has chosen for our family. "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

The Eye of Christ Upon Us – J. C. Ryle
Let us remember that the eye of our loving Saviour is upon us morning, noon, and night. He will never suffer us to be tempted above that we are able to bear. He can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, for He suffered himself being tempted. He knows what battles and conflicts are, for He Himself was assaulted by the prince of this world. Having such a High Priest, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. - J.C. Ryle

Jack, You ended your last blog, reminding us all to keep our eyes on Jesus, through all the waves of our afflictions. What a comfort it is to know that Jesus always has His watchful eyes always on us, even when we forget and neglect to look to Him for all things. He is that ever praying high priest, who never slumbers or sleeps. Thank you for being so honest and transparent as you share your struggles and temptations. Thinking and praying for you and your family.

This surely is an "amen" after yesterday's blog. God knew that we all needed to read this and be content with our life here on earth and look forward to being with Christ.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you all.
