October 2007. My dad doing what he
I love these pictures. I wish my dad could still do this. I know that he's okay with giving up things like fishing...but I'm not sure I'm okay with him having to give it up.
I despise ALS.
This blog was created to keep all of our family and friends informed of what is going on in our lives as our dear husband, father and Opa battles ALS. May God receive the full glory as we walk on this path He has chosen for our family. "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9
SO DO I !
ReplyDeleteYes, we all hate sickness and disease, especially when it takes our loved ones from us but may we be given grace to say with Jesus in John 11 vs4 This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Jesus feels your sorrow and anguish but He only can take our deepest griefs and sorrows and bear them for us. In this He is most glorified.
