Pastor Pronk shared a meditation on Mark 4 when he visited me this week. Harvest does not begin until the fruit is fully ripe. The reason why you are still here is that you are not fully ripe yet, he said. Pray for that ripening work of God. I love that image and long to be ripe.

Thank you Mr. Westerink for this. That is so true. That is why others are killed for their faith (they are 'ripe') and others have to go through many trials and tribulations first (getting ripened). Oh how I also long for that day to be fully ripened as well!
