Room Prepared

I was reminded in a recent pastoral visit by Pastor Pronk that just as my earthly tabernacle is slowly coming down, the flip side is also true; a room is being prepared for me by Jesus my Saviour. As soon as that room is ready, then I will go there to be with Him.

It is getting very difficult for me to write posts, but I will still try.

  1. Jesus said, "as the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love." John 15:9

You have been loved from eternity, dear brother. Jesus' prayer is being answered, John 17:24!

  2. Thank you for this post, Uncle Jack. It is a beautiful reminder of the glory that is coming for those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb. So often we lose perspective. Whether long or short, each of your posts are a blessing to so many people. Thanks for still taking the time and energy to write! We love you and pray for you every day! Love Sam and Cara

  3. Thanks for sharing, dear brother. indeed, your posts are a blessing. Even as the great cloud of witnesses who already finished the race are an encouragement, also your posts, written as a broken man, but full of the grace of our dear Saviour and Author and Finisher of our faith: JESUS! I believe the communion of saints, although we don't know each other in real life! A short time, dear brother, and the prayer that Jesus prayed will come : "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world." To be with Jesus, here so sweet and precious, then perfect, without sins and without ourselves, HE'll be our all in all!

  4. I found your blog while struggling to make sense of my friend's ALS. You have helped me so much to see how good and faithful and loving our God is despite circumstances. And that His plans are good. Thank you, Jack for continuing to write. You and your family are so brave and have been such a blessing to me. Love, Jessica
