We had a Holy Communion service in our church, but I could not attend. But I could celebrate union and communion with Christ at home in my chair. I was comforted by the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29), also my sin.
In sweet communion Lord with Thee
I constantly abide,
My hand Thou holdest in Thine own
To keep me near Thy side.

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing" The Lamb ánd also the Shepherd!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul! That's only to experience, "Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee, how great Thou art!" I am so comforted and encouraged brother, by the care of our dear Saviour for you. He is the same, yesterday and today and for ever for all his believers! It's so true: My hand Thou holdest in Thine own, to keep me near Thy side!
