Gift from the Grade 12 Graduating Class

The Grade 12 graduating class of 2011 presented Jack with a painting.  The painting was done by local artist Jodie Hart.  It is hanging in the front hallway of our home and is a special gift. 

There was such thought and care put into the painting:

• The sky is both blue (good times) and gray (trials and afflictions).
• The lighthouse is founded on a rock (Word of God).
• The lighthouse is part of the logo of Rehoboth Christian School.
• There is a tiny boat on the water – Jack likes fishing.
• The beauty is that the light does not emanate from the lighthouse, but from heaven. God Himself is the light of the world.
